Connect it
Install DaVinci Resolve and the DaVinci Resolve Toolkit separately. The toolkit checks your Resolve edition and the supported way to operate it before doing anything.

Handoff checked against Studio 0.4.3. The toolkit has its own version, currently 0.1.4.
Know the limits
The free edition uses file import and app controls. Native MCP control needs a supported Studio edition. Saved projects and renders are verified separately.
