Video Production Studio
Bring the footage, slides, photos, audio or brief you already have. Video Production Studio helps you plan, edit and design the video, render real files and inspect them before delivery.

Start at the stage you're actually in.
What can you do with it?
- 01
Turn raw material into a clear plan
Shape a brief, beat sheet and storyboard from your message, audience and source media before anything renders.
- 02
Edit, design and mix the video
Cut dialogue cleanly, pace a montage to music, add readable captions and purposeful motion, and balance the sound.
- 03
Deliver files you have checked
Render previews and masters locally, review them for visual, audio and caption problems, and prepare platform-ready versions.
Start with one video.
Say what the video is for and share the material you have. Start with planning for a new or unclear project; ask directly for a known stage such as captions or delivery.
Help me turn [my source material] into a [length] video for [audience] on [platform]. Plan the story, shots, captions and sound first, then check that the local video tools are ready before rendering anything. Keep the editable project with the final export, and tell me what still needs my review.
Bring: Your source media, the audience, a target length and where it will play. Expect: A production plan, then rendered files once you approve it.

Local rendering needs Python 3.10 or newer, FFmpeg with FFprobe, and a font you're allowed to use. The plugin can check your setup before it renders. Planning and review work without those tools. Check the requirements.

Name a skill when you know the stage, or describe the video you want and let the assistant choose. Each stage hands off to the next, and a render counts as final only after a quality check.

Automatic guidance: hooks
Version 0.4.3 registers no automatic hooks. You can use the included skills by asking your assistant for the task you want to complete.
Separate plugins it can work with
Video Production Studio doesn't bundle an MCP server, so the core workflow runs on its own with your local tools. These separately installed plugins add a style catalog or native DaVinci Resolve control when you want them.
Build your prompting skills
Get comfortable explaining a task to an assistant before planning a production. This beginner course teaches prompting and draft revision through a social-media project.
